Who you're sending it to

Hi, I'm Sarah.

Footage Studio is me, not an agency and not an app. I'm good at this and I don't have enough of my own work to show for it yet, so I'm cutting the next 10 videos for free. You get the edit; I get something for the portfolio, but only if you're happy for me to use it.

That's the whole catch. There's no card, no upsell at the end, and no subscription waiting behind it. If you want to ask me something before sending anything at all, write to [email protected] — it comes straight to me.

What we edit

One batch of footage, every video you need from it

The full story

The longer videos your audience settles in for: weekly vlogs, travel diaries, wedding films, day-in-the-life edits, podcasts. I watch everything you send, find the story in it, and cut something with real pacing, warm color, and sound that doesn't need apologizing for.

  • · Story and pacing that feel like you, not a template
  • · Color grading and a clean audio mix
  • · Titles and captions where they help
Vlog and film editing →

The clips

Get-ready-with-mes, day-in-my-life mini vlogs, Reels, TikToks, and Shorts pulled from the same footage. I find the moments that work on their own, reframe them for vertical, and add captions people can actually read, so your feed stays alive between the big uploads without you filming anything extra.

  • · Openings that earn the next three seconds
  • · Clean animated captions
  • · Vertical reframing from any source footage

A trip cut like a film

Our edit Long-form

Fog on the mountain road, a lake from the ridge, and a title card that feels like a movie. The wide cut we make from a travel camera roll.

Birthday, friends, slow days

Our edit Short-form

Candles, selfies, horses at dusk, and the last light on the water. Everyday clips cut so they feel like one night.

Rainy day in the city

Our edit Short-form

Umbrellas, wet streets, and a clock in the rain. A city Short with color and pacing you feel before the caption.

Ranger walkaround

Our edit Short-form

From the tire tread to the full truck in a few seconds. A clean, punchy Reel for a vehicle that deserves a look.

Beauty-store mini vlog

Our edit Short-form

A bottle in hand, then walking the aisles. Captions and cuts that turn a shop stop into something you'd actually watch.

Jacket on, type on screen, done in three seconds. The opening that tells you it's a GRWM before anyone says it.

How it works

Here's how it usually goes

01

Leave your email

That's the whole form. No account, no card. I'll email you a link to your project straight away.

02

Get me the footage

Upload it on your project page, or just paste a Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer link — whichever is less hassle. Full 4K is fine, and there's no rush.

03

You hit post

I watch all of it, cut the video, and put the first edit on your project page within about 5 days. Not right? Tell me what's off and I'll recut it.

The honest comparison

You have other options. Here's why people pick me anyway.

The big editing services

Most start at $500 to $1,000 a month before anyone touches your footage, and they're built for business channels: podcasts, talking heads, sponsor cuts. Vertical versions of your video are often a paid add-on.

Here, it's free for the next 10 projects and the shorts come from the same footage. No subscription, no credits.

The AI clipping apps

They slice up videos that are already edited. Hand them a camera roll of raw clips and they have nothing to work with, and even on good footage people throw away a third of what the AI picks.

I start from your raw files, watch everything, and build the story, so nothing needs editing before the editing.

Doing it yourself

CapCut is free. Your evenings aren't. Syncing cuts to the music, redoing captions, and fighting export settings is a second job, and it's the reason last month's footage is still sitting on your phone.

Send it to me instead. You keep filming, I'll handle the part that eats your week.

Questions

Things people usually ask

Why is it free? What's the catch?

I'm building a portfolio. I can edit, but I can't prove it with much of my own work yet, so I'm cutting the next 10 videos for free in exchange for being allowed to show them. That's the entire catch: no card, no subscription, no upsell at the end, and if you'd rather I didn't show your video, say no and I still cut it.

What kind of footage can I send?

Anything off your phone or camera, in full 4K, uncompressed. Shaky clips, too-long clips, forty takes of the same thing. Sorting through it is my job, not yours.

How long does an edit take?

A first cut comes back within about 5 days of your footage landing. If what you've sent is enormous, or you need it sooner, say so and I'll tell you straight away whether I can do it.

Who sees my footage?

Me, and that's it. Nothing gets shared, posted, or used as an example without you saying so in writing. Email [email protected] and I'll delete every file you sent, no questions and no reason needed.

Do I need an account?

No. Your email is enough, and I'll send a link to the project. An account just makes it easier to find everything later if you send more than one.

Can you edit my YouTube vlog or travel film from raw footage?

Yes. Send the clips off your phone or camera and I'll cut the weekly vlog, travel film, wedding video, or day-in-the-life story. You do not need to rough-cut it first.

Can someone edit my GRWM, Reels, or Shorts?

Yes. Get-ready-with-me videos, day-in-my-life mini vlogs, Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts can come from the same files. I reframe for vertical and add captions if you want them.

Is Footage Studio a free video editing service?

For the next 10 projects, yes: no card, no subscription, no account needed to start. A human editor cuts the video, not an AI clipping app. Once those spots are gone I'll start charging, and I'll say so here before I do.

That footage isn't going to edit itself.

Your email is enough. You don't need the footage to hand right now — I'll email you a link so you can send it whenever, from wherever.

  • Your footage stays private

Only I see it. It is never posted, shared, or used as an example unless you say yes in writing.

  • Deleted whenever you ask

Email me and every file is gone, no questions and no reason needed.

  • Nothing to cancel

No card, no subscription, no account. If you change your mind, just don't send the files.
